The Commission Youth team run two morning and evening sessions for 11–14 and 15-18 year-olds at Commission Festival. 

Why Commission Youth? 

Commission Youth exists for our young people to encounter God in their own space, to consider who God is and who He has made them to be; all with the aim of equipping them with the gospel and how it applies to their world. The challenges and opportunities in our young people’s lives are enormous and we want to help them navigate it with the help of the Holy Spirit at every step.

What will I be doing? 

In Commission Youth, we hang out with the young people and get to know them, worship alongside them, pray for them and support them as God reveals Himself to them! Both morning and evening meetings have games, worship and great speakers who inspire the young people, and your job as a team member is to walk alongside them as that happens. 

Is this the right team for me? 

For Commission Youth, you don’t have to be a youth leader you just have to be passionate about young people getting to know their Father. You need to have a willingness to listen to them, meet them where they are at, and listen to God as He guides you in how to support the young people. You also need to be up for a laugh – God created fun and joy and that can mean silly games! If you serve in this team, you’re bound to get as much out of the weekend as the young people, from the amazing talks and worship. 

How much will I be serving? 

Minimum 4 meetings out of 7.
