General Information
-
Commission Festival is back for 2024! We loved our first time together at the Bath & West Showground in 2023, and can’t wait to gather again to worship our amazing God, sitting under His word, having fun and relaxing with friends, and being envisioned for the mission He has called us to.
As a group of churches built on relationship, with a big vision, this will be a time to encounter God, encourage one another, and to be empowered on this adventure together, all whilst having a great time and making lifelong friendships and memories. It will also serve as an important building block in the faith of the children and youth within our family; the next generation that will continue to exalt the name of Jesus.
The festival has three clear aims. One is for our children and youth to be saved, filled with the Holy Spirit and grasping God’s big plan for their lives. Secondly it is for individuals and churches to spend time together as friends and family, to eat, to minister and to gather for those important God moments. Finally, it is about Christ’s great mission, to be equipped by teaching, to be released in gifting and to be empowered and sent into the harvest fields of the UK and nations.
Whether you’re part of a Commission church or just looking in, have been in church for years or just exploring, we’d love to see you there! So get booked in for an amazing weekend that may just change your life, as we continue to adventure together.
-
Whilst the majority of people who attend the Commission Festival will be from a church within the Commission family of churches, we will of course welcome anyone who is looking into Commission or doesn’t have the opportunity to go to a similar event.
-
You can arrive on-site from midday on Thursday 22nd August 2024.
-
You must be off-site by midday on Monday 26th August 2024.
-
There will be a wide range of speakers from across the Commission family. This year, we are excited to announce that Andrew Wilson, teaching pastor at King’s Church, London, will be speaking in one of the main sessions as well as in the Youth venue.

Yes, if for some reason you are unable to attend, you can give your ticket to someone else. If you do, please tell the person who booked you in so that they can amend the booking or alternatively let us know the changes by emailing: festival@commission.global. Please note, you won’t be able to change the type of ticket (camper/non-camper/student etc) or the church that the person is staying with, they will need to stay the same.
-
Whilst we think that it’s better to come to the whole event, we understand that sometimes that’s not possible. Day tickets will be available to purchase before the event and also available at the gate on the day. Day ticket holders will be allowed on-site from 09:00 until 22:30.
-
The Commission Festival is only able to run because of a huge number of people who sign up to serve. Serving also means that you get a discounted ticket! You’ll get 40% off so why wouldn’t you serve?! There are a lot of different teams that need people, click here to see the team that is most suitable for you.
Accommodation and On-Site Facilities
-
We will not be providing accommodation for delegates. You can either bring a tent, caravan, campervan or motorhome with you and stay on-site or alternatively, there are several places locally where you can book rooms for the duration of the event.

Of course! We want everyone to enjoy the Commission Festival and, if you don’t like camping, there is a ‘non-camping’ ticket option. You can stay off-site and drive in each day.
-
Yes of course! If you do want to do this, please book a ‘camping’ ticket as you will still need to pay for a camping pitch.

Families and Children

Yes, the site is wheelchair friendly with roads being tarmacked and a lift available to upper storeys of the venues.

-
We can only allow registered guide-dogs (or other assistance-dogs) on site. Please leave your pets at home (or with a friend or neighbour).
-
We know that big groups of people aren’t for everyone. If that’s you, rest assured, we will be live streaming the main sessions into the Plaza where you can meet with God in a quieter, more informal environment.
-
All the main sessions will be streamed and available at www.commissionfestival.online so make sure to invite your family and friends to watch online and enjoy the event.
