Transport Links

By Bus:

There is a bus service, run by South West Coaches, which runs close to the showground. This bus (Service 1) travels between Shepton Mallet, Castle Cary and Yeovil and the closest stop to the showground is: Prestleigh (for Bath & West). By Train:

Castle Cary Station – 4 miles, direct to London Paddington in under 2 hours

Bruton Station – 5.7 miles, direct to Bath

Gillingham Station – 15.7 miles, direct to London Waterloo in 2 hours

Bristol Temple Meads Station – 23 miles

By Air:

Bristol Airport – 23.5 miles

Vehicles & Parking

Cars are parked in the main car park on site for the duration of the event, while other vehicles should be parked in the ‘oversized vehicles car park’ as soon as they are unloaded, and by 22:00 on the first day of the event at the latest. They will only be permitted back on site from 07:00 on Monday morning (the last day of the event). Any vehicular access outside of these times will only be permitted in exceptional circumstances, by prior arrangement with the Event Team.
