The First Aid team provide a first response for accident, injuries and any other medical situations during the event. First Aid experience is required for this role. 

What will I be doing? 

As part of the First Aid team, you’ll be responding to any medical queries or incidents as they occur. This may be as straightforward as providing reassurance to individuals or applying basic first aid knowledge to the situation. Being part of the team may also mean liaising with the Medical Team and, if necessary local health and emergency services in more serious cases. As part of the First Aid team your role will involve you working alongside other teams on site (e.g. stewards) as medical instances arise. 

Is this the right team for me? 

This team will require you to have First Aid experience and a current valid First Aid at Work certificate or evidence of equivalent training. It’s helpful if you’re able to remain calm under pressure and are cheerful and confident in dealing with the people you are caring for. It’s also important that you recognise when it might be necessary to ask for help, particularly in situations you are unfamiliar with or may exceed your experience. You will also be required to complete a DBS, self-disclosure and please be aware that we will be taking references from your church leader. 

How much will I be serving? 

Roughly 4 shifts across the event.
