The BSL interpreting team are responsible for providing interpretation for the deaf at Commission Festival’s adult meetings and main seminars. 

What will I be doing? 

As part of the BSL (British Sign Language) team you’ll be working closely with those delegates who require signing in all parts of Commission Festival‘s adult meetings and some seminars. You’ll be interpreting through the worship, talks and contributions so it’s a fast-paced role which will keep you on your toes! 

Is this the right team for me? 

It’s essential that for this team you have a fluency in British Sign Language and the ability to provide sign interpretation in a large meeting. Individuals who are also able to think on their feet and respond quickly to the unexpected will be a great fit for the BSL team – it’s a great close-knit team to be a part of. 

How much will I be serving? 

On rota during the adult meetings.
