Mental Health in Covid-19 Times: Part 3

Freed+from+shame.png

During times of change and uncertainty it’s more important than ever we look after our own and others’ mental health and look out for each other.

We previously shared tips for self-care and to suggest to others, and we looked at connecting with people at this time.  What about using this time to learn more about mental health and ill health and equip yourself to better come alongside those who are struggling or even to recognise that struggle with your own emotional health? How can we the church respond both now and later on?

Here is a resource that might be of help to you both right now and in preparation for you to return to churches full of those of us who have battled through this pandemic in a number of different ways in isolation, only to come together to find perhaps it’s not quite the same as before.
