Launch of ‘Vision for Meru 2040’

Edward Buria has planted many churches in Kenya and other countries in Africa. Here, Edward marks ‘A moment in history for Meru, Kenya’ with the launch of the Vision for Meru 2040.

At the end of 2019, Edward took part in the casting of the 2040 vision alongside the Governor for Meru and their chief guest the EU Ambassador.

  • “The vision for Meru seeks to address the following questions:

  •   How do we make Meru County a place of choice to do business, to work, live and raise families?

  • How do we empower Meru people to achieve their fullest potential?

  • How do we achieve internationally competitive industry structures across our Agriculture, Health, Education, Tourism sectors among others?

  • How do we ensure sustained wealth, health, happiness and well-being for all Meru people

These questions, if strategically answered, could advance the path towards both regional and international prosperity.”

Edward is the founder and senior Pastor of Kambakia Christian Centre in Meru, Kenya. This is a church that is radically reaching Kenya and beyond, hosting a TV programme that is watched by millions, and planting vibrant churches in areas never before touched by the gospel.

His church network continues to grow through healings, signs and wonders, evangelism and mind set for church planting. In 1977 there were only 14 churches, now there are hundreds!
